The Irish EV Association will hold our 2025 annual general meeting (AGM) on Sunday the 27th of April. This years event will be held at Kenmare Bay Hotel. This meeting will review the previous year, an update on where we want to go, and any feedback and ideas from you our members!

Membership and voting

As per all prior years, only fully paid members are allowed to vote in the AGM, so make sure you are fully paid up prior to the AGM. The annual membership fee is set at €20, and you can check you status via Stripe here. If you think you have paid via Stripe in the past and cannot see it on the Stripe system, then reach out to us to check.

Finally, details on voting will be sent to all paid members the day before, or at the very latest, on the morning of the AGM. If you are currently not a member and would like to be one, register and have your chance to vote by filling out the form here: Become a member!

Candidacy and Motions

Candidacy is now open. You can submit your application for joining the IEVA committee for 2025 at the form below. Once submitted we will reach out and arrange a time to have a form of 'interview', it's a casual chat really, and just go through things with you as to what we are doing, what you will be expected to do, and most importantly, what you want to bring to the committee in joining!

The day of events running

Just like last year, this year we are going to run things slightly differently, again. Change is the spice of life! We have a few die hard attendees that always make it to our AGM in person, and in the spirit of trying to do more as a community, we hope you can join us in person for the weekend! With Kenmare Bay Hotel having joined to give our paid members a discount code, we thought it would be an excellent format to get people together the day before, on Saturday the 26th of April. Kenmare Bay Hotel have a number of chargers (50 to be precise) and alongside the discounted nights stay are offering free-charging to all registered and booked in IEVA members for our AGM. Alongside this, as people will be down the night before the AGM, we intend to meet in the evening of the 26th to say hi and chat in the comfort of the hotel into the evening!

Our intention and thought is that the majority of people attend online, but for those who can, why not get some time to meet fellow EV members and celebrate the new committee year (the night before)! For those who cannot make it in person, don't worry. We will be live-streaming the AGM and you can keep an eye on Events page for more info closer to the date on this.
