Public statement on the ESB eCars charging announcement

Following concerns voiced by members, the full Committee of the Irish EV Owners Association has met to discuss the implications of the ESB eCars charging announcement. After discussing it at great length, taking on board all suggestions of price plans given to us on our Facebook page and by our members via email, we have arrived at the following consensus:

SuperCharger
€40 per month or €460 per pre-paid year.
Unlimited charging at SCP & FCP

Electric Avenue
€10 per month
€0.20 per kWh

Sparks
SCP €0.50 initialisation fee .25¢ per kWh
FCP €1 initialisation fee €0.25 kWh

Members of the IEVOA Committee will present these at a meeting with ESB eCars soon.
