Irish EV Sales – June 2021

Audi Q4 E-Tron

A great month of June for EV Sales. As usual, end of quarter means Tesla is delivery a big bunch of EV. These are reprensenting half of all BEVs registered in June in Ireland, with the Model 3 being the second best selling car behind the Polo. Even without the Model 3, BEV sales still reprensent 7% of all sales and 390 units, a great result before a change of plate this month, and much more than last year.

Added to 9.97% market share for PHEV, plug-in cars totaled over 24% of the market last month !

New this month is the Audi Q4 E-Tron, the Audi variant of the Skoda Enyaq and VW ID.4.

Over the first 6 months of the year, the ID.4 is still leading the market with 784 sales, ahead of the ID.3 and the Tesla Model 3. Nissan Leaf and Kia e-Niro come next.
