Irish EV Sales – April 2021

For April 2021, BEVs sales are at a healthy 8.32% market share with 596 units, brining 3414 registrations and 6.18% so far 2021. 

The Volkswagen ID.4 is still on top of the charts, with no less than 219 further new sales, which makes it to date, and by far, the best selling BEV with 626 units registered. The ID.3 is also strong, getting the 2nd place year to date (485 units), just ahead of the Nissan Leaf (469). Last year’s leader, the Tesla Model 3 is 4th with the same number of sales as the Kia e-Niro (335).

New this month : The stylish Opel Mokka-e which is the SUV variant of the Corsa-e, like the e-2008 is to the e-208, all these sharing same battery and motor.
