Brite Rapid Charge are delighted to announce (as are we at IEVA!) a significant price reduction on their High Power chargers in Galway, with the aim to continue to be the cheapest High Power Charge operator in the country. The main decrease is a 9% reduction for charging during the day from 7am to 5pm during the week. More significant is the 17% reduction from 5pm - 7pm during the week.

 

With this, it is important for users to note that Brite Rapid Charge does not have a monthly subscription fee, and are offering this pricing as pay-as-you-go, and it does not require a membership plan as per other CPOs to obtain the best pricing.

 

There is no update or change to the overstay fee time frame, this remains at €10 once you go over 1 hour of charging. This is an additional 15 minutes of charging before an overstay fee kicks in unlike most CPOs. Comparing this time to ESB ecars, as per their latest update to use a per minute overstay fee of €0.50 per minute, this would contribute an additional €7.50 to charge for a further 15 minutes. However, given these are high power units, not one customer to date has been charged an overstay fee! Good news in that regard!!
